The blocks on the boom that the reefing lines run through were completely shot so ordered some more from Marina-Team but they were not compatible so tried looking for some elsewhere. Still waiting. I think the sails should last a year or so. Before I sailed her down from Malaga to Gibraltar (my home), I had to work on the rudder which had seized solid where the bush had swollen, the only option I had was to try to slightly sand down the rudder stock as I could neither get the boat raised enough to remove the rudder completely or time enough to order a replacement bush. Not ideal I know, but desperate times.
One thing I really could do with and seems are rarer than hens teeth is an owners manual in English, for which I am prepared to pay good money!
I’ve had a quick look around the site and hopefully there won’t be a problem I can’t solve with the help of what is obviously a very knowledgable membership!

Welcome to the club.
You will find all nessessary info on our forum especially for the Van De Stadt types of Dehler wich You just bought.
Most of the issues with this serie has already popped-up as a question / answer , just use the search function…
For most of the Dehlers there is an owners handbook , if they are translated in english I don’t know.
